Compliance Engineer

Job Description and Main Tasks

  • Responsible to execute COMET’s compliance strategy
  • Define the test plan and time schedule in alignment R&D and project management overall program schedule
  • Undertake compliance testing /work closely together (supervise) with third party and sub-contractors
  • Troubleshoot failures and operate the equipment under test
  • Review national and international regulations and ensure that they are fulfilled
  • Review compliance requirements during product development and release
  • Identify gaps and non-compliance issues and work closely together with R&D to close these gaps
  • Review technical documentation in regard to compliance requirements and activities internal and third party
  • Review test data in regard to compliance requirements
  • Record test results and maintain compliance data base
  • Work independently to perform technical tasks as assigned.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with MS preferred
  • Good knowledge of RF products within semiconductor industry
  • Good knowledge of EMC regulations and testing
  • Good knowledge of SEMI standards and UL/CE compliance requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor environment or compliance testing laboratory 
  • A team player with excellent communication skills
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Experience managing and maintaining positive external business relationships
  • Good people skills/communication skills
  • Highly motivated to meet team, and corporate goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service for both internal and external customers.
